North Carolina 5K for ML and MPS

This is the fifth North Carolina National MPS Society 5K Run/Walk. This event is a timed certified 5K and all proceeds will benefit research for Mucolipidosis and Mucopolysaccharidosis. Our children need your help! Come support research that is happening right now for these rare diseases, have a great run and help change a life!
Bag pick up will be made availble the night before. Day of registration will be open at 6:30 am. Race starts at 8:30 am. Shirts provided for first 300 entrants. Award categories are five deep. Male and Female with overall Male and Female.
The motivation for this event is shared by the Klein and Schleter Families as their daughter Jennifer suffers from Mucolipidosis Type III. Please read a little more about Jennifer and her journey with ML.
The Society has one office that serves our Nation and it is located in the Raleigh Durham Area! The Society is the national support for families and children affected by Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) and Mucolipidosis (ML). The Society advocates through efforts in Research, Family Assistance, Federal Legislative, Educational and Fundraising Committees. Since 2000 Walk/Runs have raised over $4.2 million dollars for RESEARCH.
